Feed: Suet
Use suet to attract woodpeckers, nuthatches, chickadees, titmice, wrens and jays. Suets come in two general varieties: year-round suet and no-melt suets. We recommend the use of no-melt suets when temperatures are expected to be above 80F. The year-round sus can be used the rest of the year. Squirrels will often go after suet cakes. To avoid this, use hot pepper delite suet cakes or pure suet cakes. You can also put the suet in squirrel-proof suet cages.
